Who operates Purpose Compass
Purpose Compass is operated by Samundra Sharma Pandit, an Australian sole trader, ABN 27 526 951 327. Privacy questions can be sent to support@eadvik.com.
What information is handled
The free assessment records your selected multiple-choice answers and the deterministic profile calculated from those answers. Assessment progress is stored in your browser using local storage.
If you purchase a Purpose Blueprint, the service also handles the Stripe Checkout session identifier, your assessment evidence, the generated Blueprint, and any optional context you choose to provide about your current situation, a direction or decision you are considering, and your current constraints.
Purpose Compass does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Stripe handles payment information.
Privacy choices and analytics
On your first visit, Purpose Compass asks whether you want to allow optional analytics. Analytics is off unless you choose to allow it. You can change that choice later using the Privacy choices link in the site footer.
Essential and functional browser storage remains available because it is used to provide features you request, such as keeping assessment progress between pages, remembering your privacy preference and caching a paid Blueprint so it can be recovered without generating it again.
If analytics is enabled, analytics must be limited to product events such as visits, assessment starts and completions, Blueprint-offer interactions and checkout progress. Assessment answers, optional free-text Blueprint context, generated Blueprint content and payment-card details must not be sent to analytics.
How information is used
Assessment information is used to calculate your free Purpose Compass profile. After a verified Blueprint purchase, your assessment evidence and any optional context you provide are sent to the OpenAI API to generate your personalised report.
The AI-generated report is intended as reflective guidance and a working hypothesis. Your assessment data is not used by Purpose Compass to make employment, credit, insurance, medical, legal or other high-impact decisions about you.
Third-party services
Purpose Compass currently relies on Stripe for payment processing, OpenAI for paid Blueprint generation, and Cloudflare for website, Worker and report-storage infrastructure. These providers operate internationally and may process information outside Australia in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
The request sent to OpenAI is configured with store: false. This controls storage by the OpenAI Responses API for the request; it does not replace OpenAI's own applicable privacy and security terms.
How long paid reports are kept
A generated Blueprint is cached in the browser used to create it. The paid report is also stored in Cloudflare Workers KV for up to 90 days so that the same purchase can retrieve the existing report instead of creating another AI-generated report.
Assessment progress and your privacy preference stored in your browser remain there until you clear them, clear browser storage, or use a feature that resets the relevant data.
Your choices
You can reject optional analytics without losing access to the assessment or paid Blueprint. The three post-purchase context questions are also optional. You can skip them and still request the paid Blueprint. You can clear local browser data to remove locally stored assessment and preference information.
If you want to ask what paid-report information is still held, request deletion where reasonably possible, or raise a privacy concern, email support@eadvik.com. Please include enough information to identify the relevant purchase without sending card details.
Security
Stripe and OpenAI API credentials are kept in server-side Cloudflare Worker secrets and are not included in the public browser application. Payment is verified server-side before a paid Blueprint is generated. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but the service is designed to minimise the information it holds and to keep payment credentials out of Purpose Compass.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the pilot changes, particularly if new analytics providers, accounts, email delivery or other data-handling features are added. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
